I'm not sure if you should use a polish on a genuine antique, if that's what it is. Consult a local antiques dealer, or contact the public library for help finding some other expert in Boston using the link below.

You can do it. Buy a can of Never dull.. from any automotive store and start rubbing. you'll be amazed at how it will come out. And you'll be filled with satisfaction and a sense of self worth at having done it yourself.
