what is the best color to paint a salon?

It depends if you are talking about the interior or exterior. Lately, there have been some salons that have been coming up with some great Southwestern or Southern European themes. I really like those where they feel as though you are going to another place without being cheesy. Good plays with neutrals really follow this trend. I've seen terracottas, light pastel yellows, etc.



Whatever you decide, don't try anything too overpowering or retro. If I see one more white and black salon that looks as though it came from 1987, I will die. That is not retro or modern, just plain gross.
